  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed fresh vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu: Wrap tofu in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Cube the tofu: Cut pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes for even cooking.
  3. Marinate: In a bowl, combine soy sauce and minced garlic; add cubed tofu and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Sauté vegetables: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add mixed vegetables and sauté until tender-crisp (about 3-5 minutes).
  5. Cook tofu: Push vegetables to one side of the pan; add marinated tofu cubes and cook undisturbed until golden, then flip to brown evenly.
  6. Finish: Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top before serving warm with rice or noodles.
