  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh carrots, diced
  • 2 cups celery stalks, diced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 6 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh thyme and parsley (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Sauté diced onion, carrots, and celery in melted butter over medium heat until softened (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add chicken breasts and chicken broth; season with salt and pepper. Simmer gently for 20 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and melted butter. Stir in milk until just combined.
