  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve some cooking water before draining.
  2. Sauté Garlic and Tomatoes: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes; sauté for about 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add Tuna and Seasonings: Gently fold in the drained tuna along with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir for about 2 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. Combine Pasta with Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently, adding reserved cooking water if needed.
  5. Finish with Cheese and Basil: Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil just before serving.
