Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place chicken breasts in a baking dish, season with salt and pepper, cover with foil, and bake for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
  2. Once cooled slightly, shred the chicken using two forks.
  3. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken with minced garlic and taco seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture onto each tortilla and sprinkle cheese on top. Roll tightly like a burrito.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Fry taquitos seam-side down for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with dipping sauces of your choice.
