  • 2 tsp Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Cut the boneless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, gochugaru, salt, and pepper for the coating.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in the dry mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken pieces in batches for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil over medium heat to create the glaze.
  7. Toss fried chicken in the glaze before serving.
