Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies are a delicious fusion of rich chocolate brownie and creamy cheesecake.   • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp red food coloring (gel preferred)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until glossy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and red food coloring.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt together. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and sour cream until well blended.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan. Spoon cheesecake mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife. Add remaining brownie batter on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges pull away from the pan and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Allow cooling before slicing into squares.
