  • 12 oz fresh or frozen ravioli
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the ravioli in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente; drain gently.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta cheese.
  5. Pour more marinara sauce over the ricotta and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
