  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups crushed Oreos (plus extra for decoration)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round baking pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in crushed Oreos.
  5. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  7. For frosting, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form; add powdered sugar gradually until stiff peaks form.
  8. Assemble the cake with frosting between layers and on top; garnish with additional crushed Oreos.
