  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos until evenly distributed.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
