  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, torn

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add angel hair pasta and cook according to package instructions (about 3-5 minutes) until al dente.
  2. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic and cherry tomatoes for about 3-4 minutes until fragrant and soft.
  3. Drain the pasta (reserve some cooking water) and add it to the pan with garlic and tomatoes. Toss gently, adding reserved water if needed.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in Parmesan cheese and basil leaves until well combined.
  5. Serve immediately with extra cheese and basil as garnish.
