  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in the egg, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet about two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges but soft in the center.
