  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until sugar dissolves and sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.

  5. Flip the fillets, brush with remaining glaze, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
