  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon for the swirl mixture.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Pour remaining batter on top and finish with more cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown; a toothpick should come out clean.
  7. While cooling, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Drizzle glaze over the cake before serving.
