Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the Russet potatoes, then cut them into uniform fry shapes.
  2. In cold water, soak the cut potatoes for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  4. Drain and pat dry the soaked potatoes. Toss them in a large bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the seasoned fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  6. Immediately sprinkle grated Parmesan over hot fries before serving.
