  • 1/2 cup whole milk (or heavy cream)

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube sweet potatoes into uniform chunks (about 1-2 inches).
  2. Boil sweet potatoes in a large pot of cold water over high heat until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
