  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 8 slices aged provolone cheese
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (any color)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (plus extra for brushing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add sliced onions and peppers; sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. Add sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, cooking until browned (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the greased dish and spoon the beef mixture evenly on top.
  5. Layer provolone cheese over the beef, then place the top halves of the buns on.
