  • 2 (15 oz) cans hominy, drained
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Mexican oregano
  • 2 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 6 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • Toppings: shredded cabbage, sliced radishes, lime wedges, diced avocado

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork shoulder into large chunks and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large pot over medium-high heat, sear the pork until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes).
