Instructions

  1. Wash and quarter the Yukon Gold potatoes.
  2. Boil in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain and let steam dry for a few minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter with minced garlic over low heat until fragrant.
  4. Pour the garlic butter over the potatoes, adding olive oil, salt, and pepper. Smash gently until slightly flattened but chunky.
