  • 2 packages sopapilla dough (8 oz each)
  • 16 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (plus extra for serving)
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Unroll one package of sopapilla dough into the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and 1 tsp cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the first layer of dough evenly.
  5. Unroll the second package of sopapilla dough on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  7. Let cool completely before drizzling with honey and sprinkling additional cinnamon on top. Cut into squares to serve.
