  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for browning)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until combined without overmixing.
  2. Roll mixture into approximately 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides for about 5 minutes per side; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk flour with beef broth until smooth. Stir in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Gradually add heavy cream while stirring until thickened (3-5 minutes). Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Return meatballs to skillet; simmer in gravy for another 10 minutes before serving.
