Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 black olives (for decoration)
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot of water for 10-12 minutes. Once cooked, transfer them to an ice bath to cool.
  2. Gently crack and peel the eggs under running water.
  3. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. If desired, add food coloring to the yolk mixture for a spooky effect.
  5. Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
  6. For decoration, slice olives in half for bodies and cut smaller pieces for legs. Place on top of each deviled egg.
