  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  2. Spread unsalted butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
  4. Layer both cheeses generously on top and cover with the second slice of bread (butter-side up).
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip carefully using a spatula and press down slightly.
  6. Cook another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from heat, cut diagonally, and serve hot.
