  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth; let it rise at room temperature for 4-6 hours until doubled.
  5. Shape the dough into a loose ball and rest for 30 minutes under a cloth.
  6. Final shape the dough and place it seam-side up in a floured proofing basket; cover and let rise for another 2-3 hours or overnight in the fridge.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F (232°C) for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
