  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup fresh breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Form into evenly sized patties.
  2. Optionally, sear patties in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
  3. Place patties in the slow cooker and top with sliced onions. Pour mushroom soup and beef broth over the patties.
  4. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce on top and gently stir to coat without breaking the patties.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  6. Serve hot over mashed potatoes or noodles and garnish with parsley if desired.
