  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 68 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping garlic and green onions.
  2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until golden brown (about 1-2 minutes).
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and reserved pasta water, then add the cooked noodles, tossing until well-coated.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and green onions, and toss gently.
  6. Serve hot with red pepper flakes if desired.
