  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
