  • Salt and pepper to taste

  3. Combine Ingredients: Toss the drained pasta into the skillet with the garlic and tomatoes. Mix well, adding reserved pasta water gradually until you reach your desired sauce consistency.
  4. Finish the Dish: Stir in fresh basil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Remove from heat and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top; stir until melted.
